Contact Spherecube
To contact Spherecube, send us the part that gives you the most headaches. You'll hear back from the team, not an auto-reply. Have a part to lighten? A drawing or a 3D model is enough to start. LOOP is the Spherecube system for additive manufacturing of composite materials and LACE is the software that prepares the fibre paths. One example is a 7075 aluminium bracket that was machined from solid and redesigned in continuous fibre, with 93% less weight and 50% lower cost. Together, LOOP and LACE take a part like this from a 3D model to automated composite manufacturing.
What happens after you contact Spherecube
- We reply within one working day.
- A short call on loads, volumes and constraints.
- Feasibility study in 10 working days: fibre layout, expected weight, production path. The study gives your engineering team data to work with, with your current part compared against the continuous-fibre version. A quote for the composite parts follows from there. If you want to see the process, ask for a LOOP demo. LOOP works on up to 6 axes, on a tilting table or a rotary mandrel.
