BIO-SET: research with UNIVPM funded by Fondazione Cariverona

Fondazione Cariverona funded BIO-SET, a project under its 2022 Research and Development call submitted by the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (DIISM) of Università Politecnica delle Marche in partnership with Spherecube. The project works on two fronts: developing the automated deposition system for high-performance thermoset composites, and studying bio-based composites made with natural fibres such as flax, hemp and sisal and renewable resins, also assessed through life cycle assessment (LCA). The collaboration strengthens the link between Spherecube and the university it was spun off from.
